Cancel/Change My Appointment

To change or cancel an appointment please leave a voice mail or message us through the patient portal. As with most psychiatric providers, our office policy is to charge full fee if you did not cancel your appointment within 24 hours. There are exceptions in extreme emergencies and you can review that with your doctor/nurse during you next appointment if that is the case. We understand that life happens and this can be a financial burden for many. Unfortunately, since out-patient psychiatric care is a time-based medical profession, we simply could not continue to practice as a business without this policy. If your schedule or health affects your ability to predictably come to your regular appointments, we suggest making same-day appointment although we cannot guarantee our availability or consider transferring care to a walk-in, mental health care clinic that may have a more flexible no-show policy and more scheduling flexibility.
